Who is Jenna Wang?

I am a storyteller and a creator with a passion for writing and the performing arts. Although I currently reside in Chicago, I’m a proud Iowa City native! 

I am also a student at Northwestern University where I major in Journalism at the world-renowned Medill School of Journalism, Media, and Integrated Marketing Communications. In addition, I double major in Political Science with a certificate in Integrated Marketing Communications. When I’m not doing academic work, you can find me writing as a journalist and creating copy for businesses as a freelance copywriter.

In my free time, I absolutely love to story-tell and artistically create in all forms. With my YouTube channel, I create Kpop in Public videos to inspire an audience of more than 100k subscribers. In the performing arts realm, I have a passion for singing, dancing, playing the violin, and acting. 

When I’m not working or performing, you can find me writing or reading a book, watching Netflix, going on a TikTok binge, or hitting the running trails. I’m obsessed with any noodle dish, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, and anything matcha!
