Near the end of my internship, I pitched a commerce piece based off a trending observation of my own — college students riding electric scooters across campus! What resulted after utilizing my freelance copywriting skills was a piece in which I evaluated and wrote about some of the top scooter brands on the market.

I not only began living alone as a freshman college student during the pandemic, but also explored the mysterious world of freelancing.
